Job Description : 

1. Handles block layout independently ensuring quality /schedule of deliverables. No supervision by lead. 
2. Works with lead on floor plan, power grid templates etc 
3. Good understanding of RV, ESD & Routing 
4. Knows all flows and tools like Genesys/Virtuoso, Hercules/ICV, Redhawk, Extraction tools. Can guide others in the team on tools/flows. 
5. Works with DE to identify tasks, does planning and scheduling of the deliverables . 
6. Understanding of complex circuits likes ADC, vregs, DACs, current mirrors, PLLs, Chargepumps, amplifiers etc.. 
7. Expectation is that the person will work as an individual contributor, working very closely with the layout lead and a circuit designer. He/She must be able to estimate layout effort for a given block, do floorplan, signal route planning, handle complex blocks, has good knowledge of RV & ESD. 
8. Must be efficient in using all tools/flows required to complete layout design.
